California Gov. Gavin Newsom delivered remarks at his daily coronavirus press conference on Monday. Watch a recording of the livestream by clicking on the video below:

Newsom on Friday announced that he had signed an executive order requiring that every registered California voter receive a mail-in ballot for the November general election.

That move drew a response from the Republican National Committee, which said in a statement, “We are weighing our legal options to ensure the integrity of the election.”

As of Saturday, at least 2,745 have died from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
