Newsom’s regular live press conferences continue Wednesday with more information on California’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

This latest speech comes on the heels of the latest budget announcement — an expansive agreement between the governor and lawmakers meant to rectify the state’s budget shortfall. Newsom told reporters earlier this week that the budget had been hammered out, but declined to give specifics. More information, he said, would come “in the coming hours, days and throughout the week.”
