California Gov. Gavin Newsom gave an update on the COVID-19 pandemic Wednesday at noon.

Newsom has until the end of the month to act on dozens of measures lawmakers have sent him during their legislative session, which wrapped Monday.
On Tuesday, Newsom told reporters he did not plan to call a special session of the Legislature to address policy proposals lawmakers ran out of time to consider, but also did not rule out the possibility.
