Jerry Brown appoints Dianne Feinstein’s daughter to medical board
Gov. Jerry Brown has appointed Katherine Feinstein, a retired judge and daughter of U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, to the Medical Board of California, his office said Wednesday.
Katherine Feinstein, the retired presiding judge of San Francisco Superior Court, will join a board that licenses and regulates doctors.
The 58-year-old Kentfield resident, like her mother and Brown, is a Democrat.
The position requires Senate confirmation and pays a $100 per diem.
