California Primary 2026: Map shows how Sacramento County voted for governor

Republican Steve Hilton was the leading candidate for governor in Sacramento County after the final election night returns were released early Wednesday morning.

Hilton led Democrat Xavier Becerra by a few hundred votes. Both candidates received support from about 28% the voters, with Hilton leading by about two-tenths of a percentage point.

Democrat Tom Steyer finished third, with 16.6% of the vote, and Republican Chad Bianco had 10.2%
