CalPERS customer service center will be offline next Monday while staff and equipment move to a new facility, then resume operations the next business day, Tuesday, October 21.
CalPERS is moving nearly 300 employees in its Customer Service and Outreach Division to a 77,000-square-foot space in Riverpoint Plaza in West Sacramento, fund spokeswoman Rosanna Westmoreland said in an email. The move will consolidate telephone and mail operations previously run in three separate facilities.
The move will not impact in-person services in CalPERS’ regional offices, including the Sacramento service counter at 400 Q Street.
