Read the court ruling against former Vallejo city manager’s pension padding

This week’s State Worker column breaks down the tussle between Joseph Tanner and CalPERS over the former Vallejo City Manager’s pension allowance. Tanner was a key voice in the city’s 2008 bankruptcy, which he blamed in part on public-safety employee costs.
