We’re still getting responses via email, calls and Facebook comments prompted by Thursday’s State Worker column about former Vallejo City Manager Joseph Tanner’s failed attempt to get a higher pension benefit.
Some readers think CalPERS meddled in a legitimate agreement between the an employee and a city so bad off that it had to offer incentives to recruit an executive. Others think Tanner’s story is a classic case of “do as I say, not as I do.”
