Three lanes of Highway 50 closed near Sacramento by emergency barrier repair
Three total lanes of Highway 50 were briefly closed Monday afternoon near East Sacramento due to emergency repair work on concrete barriers.
The left two lanes of eastbound traffic were closed at Howe Avenue and the westbound fast lane closed at Watt Avenue, the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento office said in social media posts just after 2:30 p.m.
The emergency work was to repair “k-rail” concrete dividers, CHP South Sacramento tweeted.
All lanes reopened shortly after 3 p.m., the CHP said.
