Here’s how much rain has fallen near Sacramento as thunderstorms, showers hit region

Some solid rain totals have accumulated in parts of Northern California since Wednesday night, as a storm continues to bring showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the valley on Thursday.

Rain has been relatively light inside Sacramento city limits, but between a half-inch and well over an inch have fallen in some places in eastern Sacramento County and western Placer and El Dorado counties.

Thunderstorms brought periods of heavy rain overnight and Thursday morning to some areas.

Here are preliminary rain totals as of noon Thursday for a number of locations across the Sacramento region and Northern California, according to the National Weather Service.
