If you’re traveling around Sacramento for Thanksgiving, expect mostly clear, sunny skies — but don’t forget a jacket.

Temperatures are getting colder as we settle into fall.

For the holiday, according to the National Weather Service, Thursday will be sunny with a high near 65. Lows next week will dip into mid 30s.

Early predictions anticipated a chance of wet weather from Nov. 22 to Thanksgiving Day, with an atmospheric river likely at some point. So far — there’s no rain or snow in the forecast for region.

“We’re expecting to see a dry pattern for the holiday travel week,” said meteorologist Eric Kurth. “Not really seeing anything in terms to precipitation this weekend and then to through Friday.”
