How much snow in Lake Tahoe area? Residents need snow tunnels to get in, out of homes

While California was bracing for yet another atmospheric river storm system, some in the state are still buried in snow.

The ski town of Olympic Valley, near Palisades Tahoe resort in the Lake Tahoe area, has been pummeled by snow and some residents needed to build snow tunnels to get in and out of their homes, video shows.

A new storm system is dumping more snow to the higher elevations in the state.
