Canada, experiencing its worst fire season in modern history, has seen more than 20 million acres go up in flames, according to news reports.

The wildfires have sent hazardous smoke over many cities in the United States.

A new video from CBC English shows how California is trying to adapt to wildfire danger.

Anita Bathe of CBC News in Canada traveled to Paradise, California, to see how people are rebuilding in Butte County from the 2018 wildfires that burned 153,000 acres and wiped out the town of Paradise.
