Video shows summer vs. winter comparison at same Lake Tahoe spots after epic snowfall

Lake Tahoe ski resorts are fewer than 100 days away from opening for the winter season.

For example, Palisades Tahoe opens November 22, weather and conditions permitting.

The resort shared summer vs. winter comparison photos to illustrate how much snow fell last winter.

In fact, the ski resort gets an average annual snowfall of 406 inches of snow per year. In 2022-23, a whopping 723 inches of snow fell.
