It looks like mid-winter at Lake Tahoe ski resorts. See the spring snowfall and conditions

It looked like the middle of winter on Friday at Lake Tahoe ski resorts.

Palisades Tahoe received 2 inches of fresh snow overnight, bringing the current season snowfall total to 396 inches.

Since 5 a.m., snow was falling throughout the day, adding another 3 to 5 inches.

Average season snowfall at Palisades Tahoe is 400 inches.

“This storm is bringing us quite close to that average,” Palisades spokeswoman Madison Condon said in an email.

Even if it’s the last snow storm of the season, Palisades Tahoe is open for skiing and riding through Memorial Day on May 27.
