See June snow dust Lake Tahoe mountains — and you thought summer was here
Mother Nature ignored the start of summer and went back into its winter playbook, dusting mountains in Lake Tahoe with snow on Saturday.
“Did you have fresh snow on your Bingo card for this June? Neither did we!” Maddy Condon, senior communications specialist for Palisades Tahoe ski resort, said in an email. “Palisades Tahoe is accustomed to being a snowy playground with the longest ski season in Lake Tahoe, but it’s quite special to get snow in June.”
The resort shared photos and video of the quick snow storm.
Tik Tok user TahoeLover11611 also posted video of a flakes coming down at the lake.
“I will just replay your video over and over to stay cool here in Arizona,” one person commented.
