What’s in the forecast for Sacramento?
The mid-February storm is expected to be the “coldest storm of the season,” The Bee previously reported.
Three separate storms are forecast to make up the large multi-day rainfall. As of Friday, the National Weather Service predicted the city of Sacramento has chances of rain starting as early as Saturday night, lasting through Thursday.
Winds throughout the weekend are forecast to reach up to 15 mph, according to a Friday morning forecast discussion.
Starting Monday, the weather service will have much of the Sacramento Valley under a wind advisory, with gusts as high as 45 mph expected through Wednesday night.
High temperatures will likely hover in the low 60s before dropping to the low 50s during the work week.
