Extreme heat watch affecting Southern California from Sunday to Tuesday

On Thursday at 11:47 a.m. an extreme heat watch was released by the NWS San Diego CA valid from Sunday 10 a.m. until Tuesday 8 p.m. The watch is for Coachella Valley, San Diego County Deserts and San Gorgonio Pass Near Banning.
"Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures of 104 to 109 degrees possible," adds the NWS. "Hottest conditions expected on Monday."
"Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events," says the NWS.
This watch is in effect until Tuesday at 8 p.m.
