Lake wind advisory affecting West Side Mountains north of 198 until Monday morning

On Saturday at 3:02 p.m. a lake wind advisory was issued by the NWS Hanford CA in effect until Monday at 8 a.m. for West Side Mountains north of 198.

The NWS informs, "Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," comments the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."

This advisory is in effect until Monday at 8 a.m.
