UPDATE: Inyo County under a dust storm warning Sunday evening

An updated dust storm warning was issued by the NWS Las Vegas NV on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. in effect until 6 p.m. for Inyo County.

"At 5:26 p.m., a dust storm was located from Pahrump and to the west through much of Death Valley National Park, moving south at 30 mph," describes the NWS. "Roads impacted include Nevada Highway 95, California Highway 190, Badwater Road and California Highway 127."

Locations impacted by the warning include Pahrump, Stovepipe Wells, Furnace Creek, Shoshone, Panamint Springs, Texas Springs Campground, Lathrop Wells, Death Valley Junction, Amargosa Valley and Tecopa.

"Dangerous life-threatening travel," says the NWS.

This warning is in effect until 6 p.m.
