On Monday at 1:35 p.m. the NWS Reno NV released an updated lake wind advisory valid between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. for Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra counties.

The NWS informs, "Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph for Stampede Reservoir, Lake Davis, Antelope Lake, and Eagle Lake."

"Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve," comments the NWS. "Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind."

This advisory is in effect until 11 p.m.
