Lake wind advisory issued for West Side Mountains north of 198 until Thursday night

On Monday at noon the NWS Hanford CA released a lake wind advisory valid from 7 p.m. until Thursday 11 p.m. for West Side Mountains north of 198.

The NWS informs, "West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," states the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."

This advisory is in effect until Thursday at 11 p.m.
