Concerns over choice of Petraeus
Trying to square choice of Petraeus
Re “Another entry in secretary of state race” Page 1A, 8A, Nov. 29): It’s great that President-elect Donald Trump is trying to fill his Cabinet with some experience hands such as former CIA Director David Petraeus. Although, in light of the fact that Petraeus pleaded guilty to far more egregious crimes than Trump accused Hillary Clinton of committing, I can’t see how Trump squares this in his own mind.

Petraeus as secretary of state?
To summarize, David Petraeus pleads guilty to carelessly giving classified information to a woman with whom he was having an affair and is a finalist for secretary of state in Donald Trump’s administration. But Hillary Clinton, who carelessly stored a few classified emails on her home email server is excoriated as a traitorous criminal. At long last, Trump, have you no sense of decency?
