Letters: Trump Road is a dead end

Re “‘We have to become more Trumplike,’ California Republican activists say” (sacbee.com, Oct. 22): If the Republican Party of California follows Randall Jordan in believing the Trump Road is the only road, then this registered Republican of 43 years will promptly change party affiliation. Not now, not ever, will I support the charlatan occuupying the White House, whose policies and demeanor bears no resemblance to the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Pete McCloskey, Jacob Javits, nor any other responsible sane Republican.
