Letters: Sen. Rand Paul is lucky
Re “Sen. Rand Paul recovering from 5 broken ribs after assault” (sacbee.com, Nov. 5): I don't condone violence. However, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kent., is a tea party leader. He is lucky to have health insurance to take care of his ribs. He and his Republican buddies want to kill health insurance for millions. He has a hefty salary to afford a big house. He and his fellow Republicans who rely on governmental pay want to cut out or reduce “entitlements” for the poor and seniors. It's the typical: “I got mine, too bad about you.”
