Letters: It’s great that Sprouts will hire 120 at North Natomas. Where will they live?

Re “Sprouts looking to hire about 120 at upcoming North Natomas store” (sacbee.com, Nov. 13): Isn't that good news! Now, pray tell, where are all these good, hard working folks, going to live? In North Natomas? In South Natomas? Downtown? Good luck finding affordable housing in the area. My disabled husband and I moved to North Natomas seven years ago because it's lovely and near to almost everything. We paid $800 for an apartment. In three years, our rent has increased to $1,200 per month. Our landlord said the market value for our tiny abode is $1,450 per month. He's given us fair warning, I suppose. It's great to bring in new business to the community but our legislators need to address the horrible affordable housing crisis before us. Otherwise, why bother bringing in any new company.
