Letters: Republican tax plan will be good for every taxpayer

Re “How bad is the GOP tax plan for California? Republicans don’t even like it” (Editorials, Nov. 4): I assume that the Americans who oppose the GOP tax cut are either Democrats towing the party line or people who don't pay taxes in the first place. One would have to fall into one of those two groups to prefer to give their hard-earned paycheck to the government, instead of putting it into their bank accounts. Or is it that they prefer to benefit off the paychecks of others? People opposed to the plan harp on the negatives, while ignoring the positives. It will be a net gain for every taxpayer, regardless of their state of domicile.
