With the arrival of COVID-19 to the United States, it has been Topic A, B, C, D, E and all the way to letters not currently used in the alphabet.
It’s been the same way for me and America’s cartoonists, as well.
The president’s usual graceful handling of anything other than his putting has made him a high-value satirical target for weeks, and, believe me, I am as tired of drawing them as he is of reading how badly he’s handled this crisis.
Some readers have asked me if I’m “having fun with Trump,” and the answer is, “No. Fishing is fun. Martinis are fun. This is not fun.”
Herewith is a small collection of some of my recent work on COVID-19. I can hardly wait until we can all wash our hands of this and sanitize ourselves sooner rather later.
