Joe King is running for office again – and Gavin Newsom is helping

In 2014, Not a Real Person Joe King’s faux candidacy for California governor came to a crashing end with the re-election of Jerry Brown.

After considering a subsequent run for mayor, supervisor, state Assembly and state Senate, Joe King set his sites even higher in 2016: U.S. Senate.

Now, with his latest campaign shifting into high gear, Joe King is receiving help from Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, who came by to offer advice, providing tips about how to gesture properly and give a good speech. He also had thoughts about Joe’s hair and clothes.
