Churches parade with pride

Re “Pride parade marks year of achievement” (Local, June 7): It disappoints me that among the variety of participants mentioned in the article about Saturday’s Sacramento Pride Parade, the story failed to notice that upward of 100 marchers represented about 15 area churches: United Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Episcopalians, United Church of Christ and more.

In fact, all-inclusive churches and area businesses made up many of the parade’s joyful marchers, all proclaiming that there is room at the table for all.
