Fearing for the future of Cuba

Re “Obama’s historic opening to Cuba” (Opinion, March 23): The United States should have lifted the Cuban embargo years ago. Even so, Fidel and Raúl Castro remain evil dictators despite their health care and education accomplishments.

I fear for Cuba reverting to tourist hotels and casinos, and a different darkness so long as that nation remains under totalitarian rule.
