Vape foes just want taxation
Re “Anti-vaping ads strike a blow for public health” (Editorial, Feb. 2): Scientific studies commissioned by e-cigarette opponents failed to prove their accusations, so they’ve devolved to flat-out lies. It’s becoming obvious that the real “problem” with vaping is not health risk. It is lost revenue for pharmaceutical and tobacco companies – plus the health agencies and politicians they fund. Let’s stop pretending that any level of safety for these products will be acceptable until after they are unreasonably taxed.
