River Fox Train is offering a railbike experience, where you can bask in the spring sun while cruising 10 miles along the Sacramento River and Yolo countryside.

Powered by your pedaling, the railbikes seat two people and run from Thursday to Sunday.

On weekdays, tickets start at $109 per bike and on weekends, it’s $129.

The hour-long ride is considered a “moderate to strenuous activity,” but there is a motorized assist if you need to take a break.

Where

Boarding is located at 18095 County Road 117, West Sacramento.

You’ll need to get there 30 minutes before departure.

Guidelines

To go on the railbikes, you have to be at least a year old. If you want to ride the bikes alone, you’ll need to be 16 years or older.

It’s recommended that you wear closed-toed shoes, sunscreen and a hat. You can also bring water and a helmet, although they are provided.
