Kings: Five things coach Joerger must address before season opens

49ers: New characters, same story – S.F. can’t compete in Seattle

The Seattle Seahawks’ mastery over the 49ers continues Sunday. In a 37-18 loss, the 49ers (1-2) are 0 for 10 on third-down conversions through the third quarter and don’t start moving the ball until the fourth quarter, when the game was well out of reach.

Raiders: Oakland forces 3 turnovers in win at Tennessee

Derek Carr throws for 249 yards and a touchdown, and the Raiders beat the Tennessee Titans 17-10 on Sunday with their defense finally showing up. The Raiders (2-1) force three turnovers and have a sack after giving up more yards through the first two games than any team since at least 1940.
