Dave Hoskins is in his 50th year of coaching football in the Sacramento area, having come full circle to Christian Brothers High School with stops at Valley, Elk Grove and community colleges. Coach Jack Del Rio insists his team is disciplined even though the Raiders committed an NFL-record 23 penalties, for 200 yards in their overtime win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Oakland leads the NFL with 86 penalties this season.
Now that it’s back to Cleveland for Game 6 on Tuesday night, the Cubs’ Kyle Schwarber will be back in the lineup as a designated hitter with Chicago trailing 3-2 in the best-of-seven series.
