The Raiders are off to a solid start, going 7-2 for the first time in 15 years. Following a bye week, the team’s bid to reach the postseason for the first time since losing Super Bowl XXXVII resumes Monday in Mexico City against the Houston Texans.
Coach Dave Joerger is encouraged by what he’s seen from the Kings on defense through 11 games. The Kings entered Wednesday allowing 103.6 points per game, 16th in the NBA. Being in the middle of the league in points allowed generally isn’t something to celebrate. But last season, the Kings gave up a league-high 109.1 points per game.
