Sports figures, fans offer condolences to family of ESPN’s Chris Berman

Chris Berman’s family was struck by tragedy on Tuesday.

The wife of ESPN’s longtime TV broadcaster died in an automobile accident in Woodbury, Conn., the network reported Wednesday.

Katherine Berman was 67 years old.

Fans and sports figures took to social media to offer condolences to Berman on Wednesday, which is his 62nd birthday:
