Texas starter A.J. Griffin gives up back-to-back home runs in the second inning and retired only 10 batters, and the Oakland A’s beat the Rangers 8-3 to complete a three-game sweep.

Giants: Corbin solid, Martinez has 2 HRs and Dbacks beat S.F. 11-0

Patrick Corbin pitches seven strong innings to win his fourth straight start, J.D. Martinez homers twice and the Arizona Diamondbacks use a nine-run eighth inning to thump the San Francisco Giants 11-0.
