Adrianza homer helps River Cats top Salt Lake

Ehire Adrianza hit his first home run of the season Friday night as the River Cats spoiled the home opener of the Salt Lake Bees, 5-3.

Sacramento’s three, four and five hitters – Andrew Susac, Adam Duvall and Jarrett Parker – combined for three doubles, two walks, three runs scored and an RBI.

John Bowker had an RBI single in the eighth.

Duvall’s two hits improved his batting average to .417 on the young season.

Cody Hall (1-0) got the win, throwing three scoreless innings in relief.

He struck out three and allowed just one hit.
