Four-run second leads Hornets over Aggies
Jake Stassi allowed two hits over six innings, and a four-run second inning broke a tie as Sacramento State rolled to a 7-1 baseball victory over UC Davis on Tuesday night at Raley Field.
The Hornets (26-23) won for the 10th time in the last 11 meetings, according to the Aggies’ website.
Nathan Lukes tied Sac State’s career hits record at 229. Lukes had a two-run homer and a double and drove in three runs.
Nick Lynch had two hits for the Aggies (26-20-1),
including his nation-leading 27th double of the season and the 52nd of his college career, tying Robby Tulk (2001-04) for the all-time mark in UC Davis history.
