Brandon Belt, Justin Maxwell and Joe Panik hit home runs off a struggling Matt Harvey in the Giants’ 8-5 victory over the New York Mets. One night after they were held hitless by Giants rookie Chris Heston, the Mets hand Harvey a 4-2 lead he can’t hold.

Kings: D’Alessandro out as GM

Kings general manager Pete D’Alessandro is returning to the Denver Nuggets after accepting a front-office position, according to an NBA source. He has been the team’s GM since June 2013.
