Vote for The Bee’s Boys Basketball Player of the Year

Voting ends at noon Friday, March 27. The Bee will select its own players of the year in addition to the fans’ vote.

Isaiah Bolden, Cordova: Scored 25.4 points in leading the Lancers back to the playoffs.

Marcus Bagley, Sheldon: Despite missing games due to injury, Arizona State-bound star led Huskies in scoring.

Breckin Beaman, Sacramento Adventist: Averaged 27 points for small-school powerhouse.

Xavion Brown, Sheldon: Led the powerhouse Huskies in rebounds, steals, assists, blocks, charges taken.

Tyree Gill, Burbank: Co-MVP of Metro League led Titans to league title in scoring 20.1 points.

Darius Kendall, Rocklin: MVP of the Sierra Foothill League was a versatile force.

Ryan King, Whitney: Steady leader drove Wildcats to a NorCal D-II playoff charge.

Sione Lose, Capital Christian: Capital Athletic League MVP helped lead Cougars to the section D-I finals.

A.J. McGee, Grant: Scored inside, outside and above the rim for the section D-II champions.

Jalen Patterson, Liberty Ranch: Finished a four-year career as the section’s No. 2 all-time scorer.

Isa Silva, Jesuit: Program’s next great player is a national recruit who averaged 18.5 points.

Josh Williams, Sheldon: Steady floor leader for NorCal’s top-ranked team.

Corey Yerger, Grant: Co-MVP of the Metro League led Pacers to section D-II championship.
