Jason Lindahl is a young man with a lot of skills, statistics and friends.

Lots of family and friends as the Casa Roble High School senior quarterback was the runaway winner in The Bee’s 2021 online MVP vote.

Lindahl won the popular vote as one who made all the plays throughout a banner season. The Bee’s official Player of the Year and All-Metro teams will run later this month. Lindahl will receive worthy mention of his voting results.

Rams coach Chris Horner raved about Lindahl’s leadership throughout the season, one in which his star nearly led the program to another Golden Empire League championship.

Casa Roble didn’t win the GEL, but it did earn CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division V playoff victories over El Camino 51-34 and Union Mine 35-33 before falling to Hilmar to finish 7-5.

The 6-foot-1 Lindahl passed for 1,836 yards and 16 touchdowns with just three interceptions and he rushed for 1,012 and 13.
