Adam Duvall hits grand slam as River Cats romp
Pinch hitter Adam Duvall hit a grand slam as the visiting River Cats pounded the Las Vegas 51s 14-7 on Monday night to snap their losing streak at three games.
Kevin Frandsen, Ryan Lollis and Carlos Triunfel each had four of Sacramento’s 20 hits, and Triunfel drove in five runs. Kelby Tomlinson added three hits, including a solo home run.
Las Vegas also issued 11 walks and committed three errors.
The River Cats open a four-game series against Salt Lake on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. at Raley Field.
