Video: NYC cheers for World Cup-winning women’s soccer team

The Canyon of Heroes became a Canyon of Heroines as tens of thousands of fans Friday celebrated America’s soccer-playing sweethearts and their third World Cup victory.

Clouds of confetti rained down on the goal-scoring gals as they rode up Broadway on a flotilla of floats, following the world’s biggest paper trail up to City Hall where Mayor de Blasio presented them with the keys to the city.
