Are Raiders favored to land Pro Bowl corner Jalen Ramsey in trade? Here are latest odds
The Las Vegas Raiders are the favorites to land Jalen Ramsey in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams, according to two offshore betting sites that released their latest odds Monday morning.
BetOnline listed the Raiders at +100 followed by the Detroit Lions at +125. The Cincinnati Bengals are third at +900.
SportsBetting.ag agrees, listing the Raiders with the same odds.
There is no denying that the Raiders need help at cornerback.
This past season, the Raiders’ cornerbacks had only two interceptions, both by Amik Robertson.
Ramsey finished the season with four interceptions and a sixth-straight Pro Bowl appearance.
If the Raiders decide to trade for Ramsey, it would be a big boost for the defense. It is definitely something they should do.
Speaking of trades. BetOnline still lists the Raiders as the favorite to land quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
So there are some big decisions ahead for Las Vegas general manager Dave Ziegler.
The Bee listed Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry as a potential target for the Raiders, being that he played for defensive coordinator Patrick Graham with the New York Giants.
The Raiders have Nate Hobbs, Robertson and Sam Webb as the only cornerbacks on the roster. Rock Ya-Sin and Anthony Averett are free agents.
The NFL Network recently reported that Ramsey is expected to be traded in “the coming weeks.”
The Rams acquired Ramsey in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019. He also picked up first-team All-Pro honors in 2020 and 2021.
He played in all games for the Rams last season. He had 18 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
