California Dream strikes late to beat Springfield Lasers in WTT

Neal Skupski and Anabel Medina Garrigues won the closing mixed doubles set to give the California Dream a 22-19 World TeamTennis victory over the Springfield Lasers on Tuesday night at Sunrise Mall.

Skupski and Medina Garrigues beat Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Andre Begemann 5-2.

The Dream (4-4) and Lasers (2-6) split the first four sets. California’s Jarka Gajdosova and Medina Garrigues won the women’s doubles set 5-4, tying the score 17-17 entering mixed doubles.
