Dream sweeps to victory over Aviators

The California Dream won all five sets against the host San Diego Aviators in a 25-11 World TeamTennis victory Wednesday night.

The Dream (5-4) won its second consecutive match and handed the Aviators (3-5) their third straight loss.

California took command in the second set with Jarka Gajdosova’s 5-0 victory over Chani Scheepers in women’s singles.

On Thursday night, 16-time men’s doubles Grand Slam champions Bob and Mike Bryan are scheduled to make their Dream debut against the Aviators at Sunrise Mall. The Bryans also are scheduled to play for the Dream at Boston on Saturday and at Philadelphia on Sunday.
