The California Dream clinched a World TeamTennis playoff berth Sunday night, beating the host Philadelphia Freedoms 22-16.
The Dream (8-4), in its first season in Sacramento, will face the Austin Aces (9-2) on Thursday for the Western Conference title. The team with the better record will host. The WTT championship match is Sunday.
California visits Washington on Monday before ending the regular season against San Diego at Sunrise Mall on Wednesday.
Doubles stars Bob and Mike Bryan won in the finale of their three-match stint with the Dream, beating Robby Ginepri and Marcelo Melo 5-1. Bob Bryan also teamed with Anabel Medina Garrigues in the closing mixed doubles set, a 5-2 win over Taylor Townsend and Melo.
