Sacramento River Cats continue surge, beat Salt Lake

Jarrett Parker and Ryan Lollis drove in two runs each, and Clayton Blackburn won his fourth consecutive start as the River Cats beat the host Salt Lake Bees 6-3 Tuesday night.

Parker doubled in two runs and Lollis had an RBI double in a three-run fifth.

Blackburn (7-3) allowed two runs and struck out seven in five innings.

The River Cats extended their winning streak to three games and have won eight of 10.

Meanwhile, infielder Joaquin Arias cleared waivers after the Giants designated him for assignment, and he accepted an assignment with the River Cats.
